Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong altered the lyrics of one the band’s most popular songs in order to take a shot at Donald Trump during their New Years Eve performance. The band was featured in Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest for ABC, and their performance from Los Angeles consisted of American Idiot and a number of other songs from the album of the same name.
