Aufgabengebiet

  • conduct research in the fields of process mining, data engineering, and related areas
  • develop techniques for the distributed abstraction of sensor data for the purpose of process analysis, also including privacy considerations
  • implement and evaluate the developed techniques
  • collaborate with other researchers and visit other research groups within SOURCED and its international network
  • publish research results in renowned journals and the proceedings of leading international conferences
  • take tasks for their own academic qualification
  • Anforderungen

  • an excellent MSc degree (PhD level position) or an excellent PhD (Postdoc level position) in computer science, or related fields
  • knowledge in the fields of process mining and data engineering
  • expertise in the development of algorithms for distributed data processing
  • very good programming skills
  • experience with sensor data and methods for pattern detection
  • excellent scientific communication and writing skills in English
