YOUR TASKS Our research group is recruiting a part-time project developer with industrial expertise in the field of soil management and remediation. The aim is to apply for project applications in the period June – October together with industry.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • You have a relevant degree – PhD level in applied biological sciences (biotechnology, agriculture, environmental technology,…) in the field of soil remediation • You have relevant research experience on soil remediation • You have practical industrial experience • You have experience in proposal writing and funding acquisition from European Agencies; • You have mastered the English language, both in writing skills and oral presentations;

Languages Fluent speaking and writing: English, Dutch

IT Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Specific Experience in Intellectual Property management (IP) Experience with funding acquisition Excellent academic writing Academic and non-academic research communication skills

Skills and Attitudes Experience with collaboration / networking with other research organizations Working in a research team with good interaction with colleagues Able to work quickly and independently, with respect for deadlines and quality of the produced outputs

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 4,5 months. Your contract will start on June, 1th 2023 at the earliest. Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master's degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate).
