The Chair of Developmental Psychology: Infancy and Childhood (Prof. Dr. Moritz Daum) offers a position in the field of multilingual language development (initially limited to 2 years) for a doctoral student starting August 1, 2023 or by agreement.
The research focus of the chair is on social-cognitive development in infancy and childhood. The project focuses on multilingual language development in early childhood. Previous research shows that monolingual and multilingual children differ in the repertoire and flexibility of their communicative behavior. In the planned research project, the characteristics of these differences in early childhood (0 - 6 years) as well as the underlying mechanisms will be investigated in more detail. For this purpose, behavioral methods but also eye tracking or electroencephalography (EEG) can be applied.Your responsibilities
