Offer DescriptionOne PhD position is open for application within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions -Doctoral Network 'BIOTOXDoc'.
MSCA-Doctoral Networks aim to train entrepreneurial, innovative and resilient doctoral candidates, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit. The overarching theme of the BIOTOXDoc project is the generation of safe food in a world of changing climate. As such the doctoral training programme aims develop novel control, mitigation and risk assessment methods for biotoxins (mycotoxins, phycotoxins and plant-derived toxins)
Topic : plant alkaloids in the European food supply and changes during food processing
Condition : Applicants must not have lived/studied/worked in Czech Republic for more than 12 months within the last three years; candidates from any country can apply
Application deadline : September 30, 2023 (interviews will follow in October)

PhD project will be part of European Network, additional experience will be gained during stays (secondments) in the European Reference Laboratory for mycotoxins and plant toxins (Wageningen University and Research, NL) and at Romer Labs (Tulln, Austria).
