About this position
Position is open in Radek Marek's research group to study relativistic effects in chemistry and NMR spectroscopy. The research project will investigate relativistic effects on chemical bonds, chemical shifts, and NMR properties of paramagnetic materials (e.g., CEJ 10.1002/chem.202200277; CRPS 10.1016/j.xcrp.2023.101461; CR 10.1021/acs.chemrev.9b00785; JACS 10.1021/jacs.6b02749). State-of-the-art computational and analytical tools are available in the group and supercomputer centres, and high-field NMR instruments of core facilities are accessible to all trained group members.
We are seeking a creative, independent and driven individual with documented experience related to this position. Candidates with previous research experience in computational quantum chemistry or theoretical spectroscopy are encouraged to apply.
