The interdisciplinary project aims to study the vision of everyday objects in 3D environments, exploring the reciprocal weight of shape and material of objects in visuo-motor representation.
In keeping with the renewed attention towards Psychology of Art, and converging on the goals of the New European Bauhaus, the challenge is to suggest application cues for (re)design of flexible objects.

Skills/QualificationsThe ideal profile is that of a candidate with prior experience in experimental research. In particular, the implementation of the project requires knowledge of behavioral paradigms; relative autonomy in constructing research designs; and good skills in programming and conducting experiments, thus in using software for presenting stimuli, collecting data, and analyzing them.
Finally, previous knowledge of the neuroscientific literature on affordances and/or neuro-aesthetics will be appreciated.
The evaluation criteria will include assessment of the following items:
-Degree.
-Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, and related disciplines.
-Publications and other research products.
-Postgraduate diplomas and certificates of attendance at postgraduate courses.
-Other qualifications (properly attested) relevant to the activity to be carried out, such as research contracts, fellowships, and appointments in national or international research institutions.
The evaluation of the curriculum and qualifications will be integrated by the evaluation of the Interview.
