The Mind&Act team from Capgemini Engineering is actively looking for 4 young
researchers (PhD holders) in neuroscience with strong background in one of
the following disciplines :
Signal processing (EEG, ECG, EDA) using python and/or matlab
Virtual Reality (programming with Unity, C#)
Computational neuroscience (fluent with python and/or matlab)
Machine Learning and Deep Learning (via Python - TensorFlow, scikit-
learn, PyTorch... previous experience with CNN and/or LSTM and/or RL
models would be a plus)
The Mind&Act team aims to develop and test innovative and relevant Brain
Computer Interfaces that could be used in real life settings, out of the lab.
Notably, the successful candidate.s will work on one specific topic such as:
detection of stress and drowsiness (using EEG and ECG) in operators
working in dangerous conditions
development of rehabilitation tools/methods (using VR and EEG) for
neurological patients
improvement of AI methods dedicated to physiological classifications
The successful candidates will join an amazing team of researchers and
engineers and will evolve in a very rich R&I ecosystem, in close cooperation
with prestigious academic partners and universities (e.g., Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris - PSL, Integrative
Neuroscience and Cognition Center, ISAE-Supaero etc.)
More specifically, the selected candidates will be in charge of:
designing EEG experiments for both healthy and neurological participants ;
analyzing datasets with Python / Matlab / R ;
supervising interns and PhD students ;
writing scientific articles and communicating results in international
congresses;
developing and consolidating partnerships with universities and startups.
The positions are located next to Paris (Issy-les-Moulineaux) and include
interesting salary benefits.
Importantly, these are tenure positions (CDI): the recruited researchers
will work on the Mind&Act project during two years before joining an
operational entity in Capgemini Engineering.
The starting date is flexible throughout the 1st semester 2023.
If interested, please send a CV and a brief cover letter to
[email protected] mentioning your discipline in the e-mail subject
(i.e., Signal processing, Virtual Reality, Computational Neuroscience, Deep
Learning).
