Seven sessions discuss the relevance of design and explain how it is present all around us and why does it matter. The concept bridges Aalto professors' vast knowledge, research, and expertise in design with hands-on experience and insights from the experts in the field. Together these two voices offer a comprehensive but easy-to-digest overview of design in different contexts.

 

What comes to your mind when you think of design?

If you only associate the word with arts and creative practices, you are surely not alone, nor necessarily wrong. But design is also much more. It has a massive role in how we see, experience, and make sense of the world around us. Despite that, its vast role in our everyday lives often goes unnoticed.

If you would like to extend your understanding about design and its role and relevance in different contexts, DesignTalks is made for you. All talk recordings are now available for everyone who is interested in exploring the concept of design further.
