  • POLISH: Mother Tongue

    The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • is a scientist with a doctoral degree in the field of social sciences, discipline of economy and finance or management and quality studies,
  • has documented experience in international academic cooperation; in particular has research achievements confirming their international scientific and research cooperation. Considered as an asset will be post-doctoral fellowships at universities abroad, at foreign research institutes, international scientific institute or other research institute abroad,
  • has at least three publications in journals indexed in one of international databases: Scopus, Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, Arts & Humanities Citation Index, JCR, reviewed proceedings of international conferences listed in the Web of Science Core Collection or Scopus databases,
  • has experience in organisation and project work, e.g. as principal investigator, chief contractor or co-investigator in at least one completed and concluded research project, financed under a grant from external sources.
  • has experience in popularizing science and innovative education,
  • has experience in cooperation within the socio-economic environment,
  • has documented fluent command of English.
  • Specific Requirements

    Declaration of forming or joining a research team pursuing research in the area of the FutureSoc PRA (interdisciplinary research on social changes caused by the development of new technologies and the cognitive sciences (politics, security, law, management, mind, communication, society, https: // ).

    Candidates entering the competition should email the following documents to the address

  • list of publications (incl. the publisher and no of pages),
  • doctoral or habilitation thesis reviews – if owned,
  • form of the last interim performance assessment if applicable,
  • documents in evidence of the candidate's international collaboration and activity,
  • a copy of the best research publication in English of one's choice,
  • a copy of a certificate of fluent command of English (not applicableto persons for whom English is their native language or if the instruction language during their academic education was English – please send in a copy of the diploma indicating the instruction language), and in case of command of other languages – copies of languagecertificates as appropriate,
  • the research project (project description of up to 10 standard pages in length, including bibliography). The project should expressly state the connection with the thematic scope specified in the competition announcement, description of the research (research problem, objectives, hypotheses, contribution to the advancement of the discipline, the candidate's research to-date), detailed description of the planned research (including results, e.g. publications, grant proposals etc.), predictable schedule of actions, justification of the 4I principle, i.e. internationalisation, interdisciplinarity, innovation and integration, and plans regarding dissemination of results; bibliography. The project should be supported with a brief summary in English (up to 6,000 characters without spaces),
