  • Your duties
  • Participate in projects conducted by the research group on Digital Societies
  • Writing a dissertation in the field of Critical Data/Algorithm Studies with a focus on education, ageing society or the public sector/public administration
  • Teach courses and conduct examinations as part of the Sociology and Master's Program Computational Social Systems (CSS, in cooperation with Technical University Graz)
  • Student support and supervision
  • Cooperation on organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
  • Your Profile
  • Completed diploma or master's degree in the field of Sociology or a comparable field
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German and English
  • Very good IT skills
  • Highly committed and motivated approach to academic work
  • Sense of personal responsibility and ability to work with others
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Benefits

    The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 3.058,60 gross/month (for full-time employment). This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
