About the research centre or Inria departmentGrenoble Rhône-Alpes Research Center groups together a few less than 650 people in 35 research teams and 8 research support departments.
Staff is localized on 5 campuses in Grenoble and Lyon, in close collaboration with labs, research and higher education institutions in Grenoble and Lyon, but also with the economic players in these areas.
Present in the fields of software, high-performance computing, Internet of things, image and data, but also simulation in oceanography and biology, it participates at the best level of international scientific achievements and collaborations in both Europe and the rest of the world.
ContextPosition: Research engineer at INRIA – Grenoble, MORPHEO team
Date: The position is open and the candidate can start as soon as possible. Funding is for 12 months. A start in May 2023 could be possible.
Advisors: The retained candidate will be advised by Stefanie Wuhrer and Sergi Pujades at Morpheo INRIA Grenoble.
AssignmentContext:
The position is at the Morpheo Team in Inria Grenoble, the French national institute of computer science and automation. The research topics of the Morpheo team lie in the Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and Machine Learning fields, with a focus on the acquisition, the modeling and inference of dynamic geometric shapes. Recent advances in the team have lead to major publications, such as A, B in the Computer Vision and Computer Graphics communities.

Main activitiesObjectives
The mission of the engineer will be to improve the existing research code, in terms of usability, efficiency and robustness. The created software will provide a solid base to conduct future research.
