We have an open research assistant position in the field of bioelectronics. The position is for students with a completed Master or PhD Degree in Physics, Chemistry or Engineering. The position lasts maximum a year. The research is in the framework of a project on novel devices to record and stimulate neuronal cells. Focus is on microstructured devices that interface to 3D tissue. The activities regard microfabrication, electrochemical testing, operation of bioelectronic equipment, in-vitro and in-vivo experiments. Skills/QualificationsThe candidate should have skills in experimental materials research. It is of advantage to have knowledge in one or more of the following fields:
(i) Neurosciences
(ii) Electrochemistry
(iii) Microfabrication techniques
(iv) organic semiconductors
(v) electronic engineering - analog instrumentation for low-noise amplification
