Candidates are required: to have completed higher education with a master's degree or equivalent, to have a PhD degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of mechanical engineering, to have a scientific profile related to the specialization of the Division of Motor Vehicles, fluent knowledge of issues related to: a) to have a knowledge of problems relevant to mechanics of motor vehicles movement combined with practical knowledge, b) road and field tests of motor vehicles, c) bench tests of motor vehicles, their components and assemblies, d) preparation of experimental road, field and bench research programs, e) development and implementation of new technical solutions in experimental road, field and bench tests, f) dynamic modeling of motor vehicles, g) conducting research experiments and analyzing their results, h) mechanical engineering, to be able to manage the work of the team, developing research applications, developing articles for highly scored scientific journals, communication skills, creativity, experience in project implementation, experience in preparing patent documentation, to have a knowledge of English at least at B2 level, enabling research and teaching activities, for candidates who are not being Polish citizens, knowledge of the Polish language at least at the C1 level, to have an experience in conducting classes related to specialization of the Division of Motor Vehicles in Polish and in English, readiness to conduct engineering and master's theses in these languages.
Candidates shall submit the following documents: a letter of application to the Vice-Rector for General Affairs, a CV taking into account the work history to date, Candidate's Personal Information form, a copy of the diploma of graduation with a Master's degree or equivalent in engineering sciences; in case of applications submitted by foreigners, a copy of the diploma of graduation with master's degree or equivalent degree translated into Polish by a sworn translator is required, a copy of the doctoral diploma in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of mechanical engineering; in the case of applications submitted by foreigners, a copy of the doctoral diploma translated into Polish by a sworn translator is required, a list of scientific achievements /with details of items in the last 5 years/, teaching and organizational output and achievements, other documents certifying additional qualifications: in case of applications submitted by foreigners, a certificate confirming the command of Polish language as a foreign language on at least C1 level will be required, acknowledgement of Warsaw University of Technology as a primary place of employment, as defined in the Act of Law on Higher Education and Science, a declaration on:
the full capacity to perform acts in law, enjoying full civil rights, not being convicted by a valid sentence for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offence, no disciplinary penalty as defined in Article 276 section 1 items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 being imposed on them, fulfilling the condition specified in Article 209 section10 items 2 or 3 of the Law – if applicable.
