Application on two biological models (cell cultures and Drosophila) of the pesticides with the highest affinity to DJ-1, and study of the consequences of these exposures in normal or pathological conditions.
The position will consist in characterizing the effect of certain pesticides on the enzymatic activity of the PARK7/DJ-1 protein by molecular and cellular approaches, completed by in vivo studies in Drosophila.Eligibility criteria
Knowledge in toxicology and cellular detoxification systems. Molecular biology, biochemistry, biological models such as Drosophila. Ability to work in close collaboration with the different collaborators of the project.Additional comments
