Study of materials and devices for applications in precision medicine
The TECNOMED project aims to establish Italy's first research center for the application of nanotechnology and photonics to precision medicine. A critical mass of personnel and instrumentation resources will be employed with the mission of promoting translational approaches of the latest and most promising advances in nanotechnology and photonics to clinical practice. Therefore, new materials will be investigated to make nanophotonic devices for applications in imaging and sensing. To this end, a postdoctoral research grant is requested in which the research fellow should have expertise in the characterization of inorganic or hybrid materials and in systems for the fabrication of nanophotonic devices such as bio sensors for application in precision medicine.
