The Chair of Quantitative Business Administration focuses on the development
of quantitative methods for improved decision making. From the methodological
perspective our main interests are in mathematical optimization, in
particular, integer programming, combinatorial optimization, bilevel
optimization and optimization under uncertainty.
Your responsibilities
Developing, managing, and publishing research projects
(Assisting in) teaching activities
Supervision of Bachelor or Master theses
Your profile
Candidates should have a strong background in Operations Research,
Operations Management, Optimization, Industrial Engineering, (Applied)
Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
The PhD student candidates should have or be close to completing a
master's degree in one of the fields stated above.
Solid knowledge of optimization techniques and/or stochastic processes
Good programming knowledge and skills
Strong motivation for scientific research and teaching
Good organizational and communication skills
Reliable team players
Advanced English language skills
