Job description

This research position will focus on developing probabilistic models needed to determine grid capacities, taking a wide range of uncertain variable into account. This add-on module in form of system twining models will enhance the capabilities of the current digital twin platform by determining and optimizing non-firm capacities for renewable energy installations. This will be used to support the decision-making of the stakeholders involved in a collaborative way, in order to integrate more sustainable energy, guided by qualitative and quantitative results of the digital twins, together with the development of Real-time Interface (RTI). These activities will lay the foundation for a comprehensive analysis to determine optimal non-firm capacities for integrated solar and wind installation. This is a part of the project ORKEST under the MOOI-2023 funding from RVO/TKI Urban Energy.
