governance project on mountain hay meadows
Get involved in an exciting project and become part of a team dedicated to transdisciplinary sustainability research at one of Germany's most beautiful universities!
Your tasks
You will closely collaborate with researchers from Austria, Sweden, Denmark and Armenia within the project ALPMEMA, funded within the European Biodiversa+ programme. The aim is to identify best practices to maintain a favorable conservation status of mountain hay meadows despite the threat of underuse and to explain the influence of different ownership regimes as well as protected area status on these practices. For this, and with a focus on a case study site in the Southern Black Forest (Germany), you will carry out a stakeholder mapping, conduct a solution scan (including a Delphi study), interview land managers, and lead participatory scenario development workshops.
