Offer Description

Information is nowadays one of the keystones of our society which has an ever increasing need for information exchange. This security of information processed or to be communicated can have an impact or important repercussions in areas that concern health, innovation, and in general the economy.

Protecting this information and finding innovative ways to process these large masses of data are key challenges today. This project is proposed within the framework of the construction of a joint laboratory and proposes the development at Femto Institute of integration and development activities for innovative quantum components within the company AUREA Technology to promote the advent of such space technologies. In particular, the integration on Niobate should allow the development of new components for space applications interessing partners such as EADS, CNES, and ESA.

Envisaged works :

The work is three fold:

1. Developing high dimensional quantum entanglement sources based on the Zn waveguide PPLN.

2. Implement a system for the manipulation of entangled states compatible with spatial communications networks
