  • Job description

    The successful candidate will work on the Horizon Europe projects about mobility and energy research. MOBILERS has DECARBOMOBILE, BLOW and FLEXSHIP projects. So, we are looking for talented candidates.

    The Master and PhD positions on offer will join a team of senior researchers, postdocs and PhD students dedicated to research with the aim to identify and evaluate different pathways toward sustainable energy and transport systems.

    The projects are funded by the Europan Commission. The project will be performed in cooperation with partners in the consortiums.

    Major Responsibilities

    Your major responsibilities as Master or PhD student is to pursue your own master or doctoral studies. You are expected to develop your own scientific concepts and communicate the results of your research verbally and in writing in English. The position also includes working in SCU MOBILERS laboratories at SCU CUTAM. You are expected to apply your project and defend your master thesis within 2 years or doctoral thesis within 4 years.

    Qualifications

    To qualify for this position, you must have a bachelor or master's level degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical&Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent. Excellent writing and communication skills in English are required. Being fluent in Turkish can be your bonus. Familiarity with modelling languages used for linear programming (e.g. Python, MATLAB) is mandatory.

    Contract terms

    Full-time temporary employment. The position is limited to a maximum of 2 years for master's students and 4 years for PhD students.
