Conditions of appointment are regulated by the Science and Higher Education Act (Official journal NN 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 46/07, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17), by the Decision on conditions for assessment of teaching and professional activities in the appointment procedure of the Croatian council of colleges and university colleges of applied sciences (official journal NN 20/12).

The application must be written in the form of a report: CV, scientific, teaching and professional activities. Apart from the application, the candidate must submit the evidence of fulfillment of conditions. The application and all the supporting documents must be submitted in a paper and electronic format (on a CD). The copies of diplomas need to be certified, and as the evidence of work experience, the candidate must submit a certified printout from the Register of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or the previous employers' certificates; copies of relevant papers and the last decision on the appointment need not be certified.

Persons of both genders can apply for the above positions (article 13 of the Gender Equality Act, official journal NN 116/03).

Foreign citizens must also submit a proof of the fluency in the Croatian language: the C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and a decision on the recognition of the foreign higher- education diploma issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or the confirmation slip on the submitted request.

The applications with the supporting documents are to be sent only by regular mail within 30 days from the publication of this announcement to: Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Vukasovićeva 1, 10 000 Zagreb, with the note “za natječaj”.

Incomplete or late applications shall not be considered. Persons who submit incomplete or late applications shall not be considered candidates for the announced positions.

Economics: Master Degree or equivalent

executes all forms of teaching: lectures, exercises, seminars, exams, written exams. Places lecture notes and presentations on the e-learning system on the web. Coordinates and holds office hours, acts as a bachelor thesis mentor, and publishes papers in co-authorship with students. Participates in ZSEM life- long learning programs. Participates in various ZSEM bodies. Participates in international and domestic academic and professional conferences as a presenter. Publishes papers.
