Modern mm-wave communication/radar systems are quite complex and challenging to build both from signal processing and hardware design perspective. From a mm-wave circuit designer's point of view, system-level behavioral models play a significant role in mapping the abstract system specifications to detailed hardware design specifications and simultaneously allowing for system-level simulation & verification early in the design cycle.
In this work, you will design RF behavioral models (PLL, Mixer, PA) for a 61 GHz transmitter module and verify the models performance with RF simulation analysis (HB, Envelope, PSS)
Prerequisites Necessary: Applicant should have electrical engineering background Necessary: Applicant should have undertaken basic DSP, RF/microwave engineering coursework Preferable: Experience in Cadence Virtuoso or Keysight ADS Optional: Prior practical experience in RF/Microwave field is a plus
