The recruited person will join the Biological Chemistry team of the BioCIS Laboratory (UMR 8076, mixed unit CNRS/Université Paris Saclay/CY Cergy Paris Université) located on the Neuville/Oise university site of CY Cergy Paris Université.
The team brings together researchers on the general thematic of molecules of biological interest for health, such as amino acids, peptides and peptidomimetics, fluoropeptides, glycopeptides and nucleosides.

Skills/Qualifications

This recruitment aims to specifically strengthen the skills of the “Fluorinated Peptides & Peptidomimetics: Synthesis, Analysis and Molecular Interactions” division (Manager: Grégory Chaume). 
The candidate must have solid training in synthetic chemistry and particularly in the chemistry of biomolecules in order to initiate new research projects in the field of the synthesis of amino acids, peptides and peptidomimetics, in particular of structurally defined peptide platforms, an emerging field with a strong impact on questions of biological interest. 
In addition, he/she must have proven experience and skills in the structural study of biomolecules (NMR and CD spectroscopy). 
Skills in docking, modeling and/or molecular dynamics will be appreciated. 
The candidate must have a strong taste for working at the interface of chemistry with other disciplines, particularly biology. 
Motivation to obtain and manage funding, to participate in projects, and/or to carry out research programs will be appreciated.

Specific Requirements

The candidate will join the teaching team of the Chemistry department operating both the CYTech engineering courses and the university courses of the Institute of Science and Technology of CY Cergy Paris University.
He/she will provide teaching and responsibility for teaching units in organic chemistry, general chemistry and spectroscopy, fundamental and experimental, in the Biotechnology Chemistry (BTC) engineering sector of CYTech as well as in the Bachelor's and Master's degrees. of chemistry.
He/she will participate in the supervision and monitoring of projects in the BTC sector in pre-Ing2, Ing2 and Ing3 in collaboration with the technical team of the department and the associated research laboratories.
The future recruited person will be involved in teaching responsibilities and/or other administrative responsibilities of the Chemistry and CYTech department. In particular, it must support the implementation of structuring projects for the school and the establishment as well as the evolution of the training offer.
