Rector of the University of Szczecin announces a competition for the position of assistant (in the field of Business Informatics) at the Institute of Management of the University of Szczecin

Eligibility criteriaCandidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
1. a statement of compliance with requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws 2022 item 574 as amended);
2. an application letter;
3. candidate's CV and questionnaire;
4. certified copies of documents confirming the master's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, and in the case of documents prepared in a language other than Polish, also a certified translation of the document into Polish and a certificate of equivalence of the diploma with the Polish academic degree;
5. information about academic achievements (including a list of publications) and didactic and organizational accomplishments, or a declaration about lack thereof;
6. a statement that the University of Szczecin will be the candidate's main place of work;
7. a candidate's consent for the processing of personal data by the University of Szczecin in the recruitment process on a form available at the university's website,
8. a document confirming knowledge of Polish and English languages (an original or certified copy of a certificate or report card).

Skills/Qualifications1. A master's degree in Computer Science or Technical Informatics or Business Informatics,
2. Knowledge of Polish and English languages in writing and speech at a communicative level.
3. Knowledge of the following areas:
• Information Technologies,
• Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP),
• Knowledge of programming frameworks (Laravel, Bulma),
• Knowledge of statistical programs (e.g. Matlab, Statistica),
• Knowledge of development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Docker),
• Knowledge of databases and SQL language,
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures,
4. Willingness to scientific development and scientific activity,
5. Participation in scientific conferences will be an additional advantage.
6. Knowledge in the field of cognitive neuroanalysis and experience in working with test environment (e.g. Imotions) and measurement equipment (e.g. Electroencephalograph, Eyetracker etc.) will also be an additional advantage.
Specific RequirementsThe applicants must meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the July 20, 2018 Act - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2021, item 478 as amended) as well as the requirements specified in the competition.
