Net salary up to 3000 € net/month for 24 months duration

Envisaged Job Starting within September - November 2023.

The call is only and strictly OPEN FOR INTERNATIONAL INCOME MOBILITY toward Genopole campus teams. Applicants who are already in France or who are willing to pursue their postdoctorate in other hosting units or companies outside Genopole campus are not eligible to ApogeeBio programme.

Founded many years ago, the partners strictly respect French labour law in the field of research, which guarantee full remuneration package including social security coverage according to the national law and the right to sick leave or maternity/parental leave.

Selected applicants will get personalised and sur-mesure support from our partner Science-Accueil in order to facilitate their installation and the administrative regulations ; Science Accueil will also provide courses of French and cultural activities among other services. Our partner ABG-Asso will give support for the career development plan of the selected applicants during their postoctoral period.

The following eligibility criteria must be met by the applicant

-Diploma : On the date of application, the candidate should be in possession of a PhD degree or have 4 years-experience as researcher; he/she must have at least one publication in the first 3 authors (either accepted, in press or published).

-Seniority: Candidates can apply within 4 years from obtaining their PhD degree or from the end of their 4 years research experience. This time limit is considered at the application deadline and is extended by one year per pregnancy, parental leave or national service.

-Research topics: Total freedom is given to the applicant to design the research project and to choose the most appropriate host institution among partners; it is their responsibility to contact the potential hosting teams (listed on ApogeeBio website).

-MSCA Mobility Rule: Researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, research mobility, internships....) in the country of the recruiting beneficiary for more than 12 months, successive or not, in the 3 years immediately before the application deadline. Compulsory national service, short stays such as holidays, and time spent as part of a procedure for obtaining refugee status under the Geneva Convention are not considered in this mobility rule, they are allowed. A declaration of honor on mobility rules will be requested.

description; both parts are considered as a whole document that will be sent to the independent experts for evaluation. The evaluation will be based on a set of objective selection criteria scored from 1 to 5 as shown in the application file.

Ethics : In your proposal, you must show clearly that you have identified all the ethics check-points and that you will submit it to the appropriate competent authorities before starting your project. The funding will be initiated only once you / your hosting team get the due authorisations if applicable. Explained in the application file.

Once eligibility criteria are met, the scientific excellence is the sole criterion based on which ApogeeBio fellowships are awarded.

Candidates should be able to show their early achievements attested either by significant publications (as main author) in major international peer- reviewed scientific journals, or by a other valuation of their research work (communications, participation to scientific training activities...). The application file must show clearly the ability of the candidate to manage her/his project, a good quality and level in terms of scientific background and technical autonomy in the realisation of the research project. They must show their added value as a new member in the hosting teams.

hence English language must be mastered with excellent level.

In addition, French courses will be proposed on a voluntary basis.
